Taumac Management Software

Taumac has developed an intuitive and versatile software, suitable for both 2D and 3D operations. The operator has access to a wide range of tools to engrave or mark objects: text lines, arched text with multiple fonts, polylines, arcs, barcodes, datamatrix codes, serial numbers, counters, logos, and image import.

The software supports file import in the main graphic and CAD formats, including DXF, DWG, SVG, AI, PLT, WMF, EMF, EPX, JPG, BMP, PCX, GIF, and many more. It also allows the creation and management of custom parameter databases, with data import from Excel files or the customer’s management systems.

Intelligent Vision Systems

The integrated Taumac vision system for precise marking alignment is available in two configurations:

  • Manual: File positioning by the operator
  • Automatic: automatic part recognition and centering

Features:

  • Automatic centering of the marking on the workpieces
  • Real-time display of the markingarea
  • 5 MP camera
  • Vision area: up to 70 × 50 mm
  • Top or bottom illumination via backlit pallets
  • Standard focal length: 160 mm (other focal lengths available)

The Taumac software automatically sends the X, Y, and R coordinates to the laser and automatically centers the marking file on the workpiece.

Automation

The Taumac software is fully developed in-house and can be customized according to the client’s specific requirements. The operator interface allows full control of operations even during machine operation.

In Warehouse systems (W-Series), pallets can hold different objects and allow continuous loading/unloading, even during automatic cycles. Remote monitoring and access to detailed production reports are available. Each system is supplied with a high-performance PC to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.

3D Marking Head

Thanks to the 3D scanning head, the laser follows the object’s contour while maintaining a constant focus. This allows for marking on curved or complex surfaces such as spheres, cones, inclined planes, or irregular contours, reproducing text, logos, or textures.

Two working areas are available without the need to change the focal lenses:

100×100×40 mm and 170×170×70 mm
200×200×80 mm and 300×300×80 mm
